Hoje, a AGA representa mais de trinta restaurantes étnicos e internacionais, que são visitados por milhares de clientes satisfeitos, todos os anos.

In its capacity the Chamber is required to report to the Minister of Economic Affairs and to furnish information and advice of a social, financial and economic nature in the general interest of commerce and industry. The Chamber may of its own accord give such advice and also, submit proposals or recommendations to the Minister of Economic Affairs. Furthermore, the Chamber performs advisory tasks through its representation in advisory bodies as well as in the governing bodies of foundations and other organizations, whose purpose it is to promote, directly or indirectly, the interest of the business community, in the broadest sense.The Chamber is officially designated the advisory body to the Minister of Economic Affairs on all applications for permits relative to the Business License Ordinance.In addition to its advisory task, the Chamber is by law responsible for administering and supervising the Commercial Register and the Foundations Register.The Chamber is also responsible for maintenance of a public record of the annual financial statements of those limited liability companies incorporated in Aruba (Dutch: naamloze vennootschap), which by the Commercial Code are required to file complete copies of these statements at the office of the Commercial Register.

FPNC is a foundation that supports vulnerable groups and voluntary initiatives in the Aruban community. There are more than 1200 families on Aruba who cannot afford electricity & water and struggle to fully meet their basic needs. FPNC will try to bring all organizations and foundations together to focus on avoiding and fighting poverty, emotional distress and social exclusion in the largest sense of the word (independent of the nationality, religion and culture), to gather funds and financial means to finance these initiatives and to promote the poverty care and the complete welfare Their major project is the national Food Bank; storage for food products, clothing, furniture and other basic needs articles. In the same time they avoid waste of food and products.

SETAR N.V. Aruba's national telecommunication provider is the principal telecommunication company on the island. SETAR N.V. provides solutions for Fixed line, Mobile, Internet and Data. The company's cellular communications infrastructure offers both GSM and TDMA services.

SETAR has more than 70,000 registered cellular subscribers giving the company a better than 70% penetration rate. Setar also offers trunking and paging. In 2002 SETAR N.V. introduced international roaming for both its GSM and TDMA customers.

Some countries with which commercial roaming agreements have been signed are the USA, The Caribbean, Colombia, The Netherlands, Venezuela and the United Kingdom. GPRS, Internet chatting, ring tones, WAP and MMS services were recently introduced on the GSM network; picture sending and receiving, downloading of ring tones and logos and Internet access are now possible through the cellular phone. SMS is available on both networks as the networks are interconnected.

SETAR N.V. is also an Internet provider and offers island-wide, high-speed DSL services. There are over 13,000 DSL subscribers, one of the highest penetration rates in the region.Another service of SETAR N.V. is high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access for laptop and PDA. The Wi-Fi service is offered at several hotspots on the island, including hotels, restaurants, bars and even on the beach for fast, easy Internet access. SETAR also offers the 123 Instant Access with a 56 kbps dial-up service.

With the 123 Instant Access one can surf the Internet without an account; this service is targeted mainly at the tourist market. For international telecommunications, SETAR N.V. connects to the outside world via circuit switches and VoIP platforms. The international network of SETAR N.V. consists of two earth stations and fiber submarine cables via the Pan American and Alonso de Ojeda / Americas-2 cable systems.

With the available infrastructure SETAR N.V. can provide its customers with international services such as IDD (International Direct Dialing), International Operator Services, Credit Card Calling Service, Collect Calling Service, International VoIP Services, 800 Services and Credit Card Validation Services.SETAR N.V. has expanded its services to all its outlets. EPI Hospitality & Tourism Unit, is a fully government-accredited institution of higher learning, granting an Associate of Science degree in Hospitality Management and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts to qualified students entering with an accredited High School diploma. Those students who want to further pursue a Bachelor's Degree, should have no trouble getting into U.S. schools, such as the Florida International University in Miami, University of Nevada in Las Vegas, University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida Institute of Technology, Webber International University, New York Institute of Technology, Cornell University, University of New Orleans, Northern Arizona University, Hotel Management School Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, or the University Of Aruba, and many others. In almost all cases, as many as 68 credits are accepted for transfer, placing the student in the junior year towards graduation with the Bachelor's Degree. EPI Hospitality & Tourism has established a working relationship with several of the previously mentioned schools.Formal matriculation agreements for transfer exists with: Florida International University in Miami, University of Northern Arizona, University of Nevada in Las Vegas, University of Central Florida in Orlando, Hotel Management School Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, and with the Universidad di Aruba. EPI Hospitality & Tourism is not a vocational school, nor an upper level high school; it is a full fledged two to three year of college education comparable to the first two years of U.S. colleges with an accredited hospitality & tourism program. Established as Aruba's Hotel School in 1982 with funding from the EEC, EPI Hospitality & Tourism enjoys much respect at home from both the public and private sectors, and has earned recognition from numerous international schools, organizations, and institutions. Each year about 20% of the student body is comprised of students from numerous countries providing the school with a pleasant international flavor. International students come from among other countries like St. Maarten, Bonaire, Curacao, Grenada, the Philippines, the Netherlands, the U.S.A., Dominican Republic, Venezuela, South Africa, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica, Haiti, Ecuador, and Brazil. The EPI Hospitality & Tourism Unit is an active member of CHRIE (Council on Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Education), the Caribbean Council of Hotel Schools (CHOCHS), and the AHATA (Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association). The school is also a member of the World Congress on Hospitality Education and Training. All faculty members are university graduates with a Bachelors and/or Masters degree.
